Skydiving since 2007
Will pursued a lot of outdoor activities growing up that indicated he might become a skydiver – motocross, rock climbing, surfing, skiing – but it was family that got him into the sport: “My Step-Grandfather Jack was a skydiver and we used to sport jump together up until he was in his 70’s. We had a lot of fun, and we still enjoy talking about skydiving when I visit.”
Will’s passion for skydiving has taken him all around the world, but it’s a story from Skydive Key West that is his most memorable jump so far: “I took a person at the end of their life who was suffering from terminal cancer. A benefactor flew them in, and we took them skydiving as their wish before they died.”
For anyone who’s on the fence about making their first skydive, Will has some great advice that hopefully sets their mind at ease: “The hardest part is just showing up.”
